Al Ghazali Reduces Shooting Schedule to Become a Prepared Husband

The eldest son of Ahmad Dhani and Maia Estianty, Al Ghazali, is enveloped in happiness. He and his wife, Alyssa Daguise, are now awaiting the arrival of their first child. According to medical predictions, Alyssa is expected to give birth between April or May 2026.

As the anticipated day approaches, Al Ghazali shows his dedication as a soon-to-be father. He has decided to limit his activities in the entertainment world and reduce his work schedule.

"There were actually offers for shooting before and after the birth, but I decided not to take them because this is the first child, so I want to be present for that moment," said Al Ghazali when met in the Kemang area of South Jakarta, Friday (7/2/2026).

Al's decision to become a supportive husband is not without reason. He realizes that his wife's mental condition is starting to change, especially as she enters the final trimester of pregnancy. Al expressed that Alyssa has become more sensitive and is having difficulty resting.

"The first and second trimesters are safe, but the third one is a bit different. In this third trimester, she is more cranky, more prone to anger, and sometimes has trouble sleeping," said Al Ghazali.

Seeing his wife's condition, who often feels uncomfortable, Al Ghazali tries to give extra attention. He admits that he always tries to fulfill all of Alyssa's wishes, including cravings. Fortunately for Al, Alyssa's requests during pregnancy are not difficult because his wife often just asks for chocolate. "Whatever she asks for, I do it, yes," he added.

In addition to focusing on providing mental support for his wife, Al Ghazali is also starting to prepare his technical skills in taking care of a baby. He has planned to attend special training at the hospital so that he won't feel awkward when taking care of his child later.

"Later we will go to the hospital to learn like training on how to carry, how to bathe," he said.

Actually, carrying a baby is not entirely new for the older brother of El Rumi and Dul Jaelani. He admitted that he has started to get used to it when meeting children of fellow artists as well as his other nieces and nephews.

"I have carried before, with Arash (the child of Aliyah and Thariq Halilintar), and with other nieces and nephews, I have started to be braver compared to before," said Al Ghazali.
