Aliff Alli Insists Not Recognizing as Legal Wife, Nuning Irpana's Legal Counsel Reminds Legal Risks

Kapanlagi.com - The isbat marriage and divorce talak application filed by Aliff Alli against respondent Aska Ongi has ended. After months of hearings at the Central Jakarta Religious Court, the panel of judges decided to reject the applicant's request.

Meanwhile, the trial of Aliff Alli with Nuning Irpana is still ongoing in the same court. Next Monday, the Malaysian actor will attend a face-to-face hearing with the agenda of presenting evidence.

1. Refusing Canceled Marriage

As known, Nuning Irpana claimed herself as the first wife of Aliff Alli, whom she married in 2011. However, after the marriage ceremony, she was immediately abandoned by the man. Eventually, they met again in the marriage cancellation trial filed by Aliff.

Firmly, Nuning does not want the marriage with Aliff, recorded in KUA Cilandak, to be canceled. The woman prefers to be divorced, even though her husband does not acknowledge their previous marriage.

"In general, we stick to the fact from KUA, in which Nuning Irpana's name is still registered in KUA Cilandak as Aliff Alli's legal wife. As for Aliff's side, they deny it, that's his right," explained Manto.

2. Denial Must Be Based on Facts

Furthermore, Nuning Irpana's legal team requests Aliff Alli to prove if the marriage never happened. The final decision will be determined by the judge.

"Aliff's denial must also be in accordance with the presented facts. If later the denial is not based on facts, there will be legal consequences in the future," Manto added.
