Almost 20 Years Together, This is The Secret Why The Changcuters Never Get Bored with Their Career Together

Kapanlagi.com - The band from Bandung, The Changcuters, has been working together in the music industry for almost 20 years. Among the many bands that change personnel until they disband, The Changcuters is one of the bands that still survives with their original formation consisting of Tria (vocal), Dipa (bass), Qibil (guitar), Alda (guitar), and Erick (drum).

"Well, Alhamdulillah, that is God's fate, right? Alhamdulillah, until now we are still given the opportunity, togetherness is still given a solution if there is a problem. So, Alhamdulillah, we also don't know," said Tria when met at CGV FX Sudirman, Central Jakarta some time ago.

1. The Secret of Solidarity

The Changcuters also revealed the secret of their solidarity until now, which is communication between personnel. Like a household, they don't need to argue about small things and know when to lower their ego.

"Communication among the five of us is getting better as we get older, we have been in a band for 19 years, almost 20 years, it's like being in a long marriage, small things don't need to be argued about. We know when to lower our ego, when to be confident, so as we go on, there are rarely any disputes and we can still solve them calmly," explained Dipa.

2. Their Focus is on The Changcuters

Because they are aware and understand that everything they do is for the sake of The Changcuters band. "Because our focus is only on Changcuters, so we all understand. Like earlier, sometimes we argue about issues related to methods and principles. For example, Dipa wants to take the toll road, I want to take the mountain road, even though we're both going to Jakarta, so we just have to be able to put our egos aside if we want to succeed in Changcuters," explained Tria.

If they ever feel bored, they always have their own way of getting back up and continuing to create. "Because we have committed ourselves to the music industry, we have to be professional. And facing the future, we always have to think about what else we can create and what other strategies we can use, how we can analyze all the situations and transform them into works of art. So if we get bored, each moment has its own challenges. If we get tired, we can recharge if we succeed, and if we fail, we can try something else. That's what keeps us motivated," concluded Tria.
