Krisdayanti's talent was discovered through the Asia Bagus event in 1992. In that Asian singing festival, she managed to win the Weekly Champion title, followed by the Monthly Champion title. Finally, Krisdayanti was crowned as the Grand Champion of the first season of Asia Bagus.
In 1995, Krisdayanti finally signed a recording contract with Hemagita Records, which later became Warner Music Indonesia.[16] Under this label, Krisdayanti released her debut professional album titled 'Terserah'.
On August 22, 1996, Krisdayanti, who was 21 years old at the time, married Anang Hermansyah. To finance the wedding, they both tried to create a demo album duet.
Krisdayanti and Anang's debut duet album was released with the title Cinta. The first 1,000 copies of the album were given as gifts to the wedding guests.
Many hits were born from this album, such as 'Cinta', 'Berartinya Dirimu', 'Di Hati', and 'Dua Hati'. Krisdayanti and Anang also won the 'Best Pop Album' and 'Best Pop Song' awards at the 1997 Indonesian Music Awards.
Krisdayanti once joined the 3 Diva group with Ruth Sahanaya & Titi DJ, two singers with above-average vocal abilities. The collaboration resulted in two music albums.Â
Her two biological children who are now following in her footsteps as singers are Aurel Hermansyah (Anang Hermansyah's child) and Amora Lemos (Raul Lemos' child).
