Already Have a House in Bali, Diah Permatasari Admits Not Ready to Leave Jakarta

Kapanlagi.com - Diah Permatasari has been bought a house by her husband in the Bali area. The house was purchased in preparation for their old age.

Although she already has a house in Bali, Diah admits she hasn't thought about moving yet. This is because Diah feels that her main life and source of income are still in Jakarta.

"Jakarta is our main residence. So Bali is our second home. The first home is in Jakarta. The house in Bali is for old age and relaxation. But who knows, if we get bored in Jakarta, we might live in Bali," said Diah Permatasari when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (28/8).

"I don't want to (move to Bali). My husband's livelihood, ours, is in Jakarta, while Bali is just for refreshing and resting," she continued.

1. Retirement Home

In addition, Diah reiterated that the house will eventually be occupied to enjoy retirement. This is because the location of the house is believed to provide tranquility as it is far from the crowds.

"The place is really quiet and comfortable, far from the noise. And indeed for my age, it's better to be in that area to really enjoy the peace," she said.

"Unconsciously, as time goes by, I feel like 'oh my God this is really a gift from my husband for our retirement that we are enjoying,'," she concluded.

2. Surprise from Husband

Furthermore, Diah Permatasari shared the origins of her house in Bali. It turns out that the house was a surprise from her husband 11 years ago.

"Eleven years ago, my husband surprised me and the kids. We really love the beach, especially Bali. One time my husband surprised me and I was a bit confused why he chose a location on the hill," revealed Diah Permatasari.
