Already Received Endorsement From Political Parties But Considered Political Comedy, Lucky Hakim: I'm Having Bad Luck Here

"This is really an unpleasant issue, I'm having bad luck here, there are always those naughty politicians who are envious and spread slander, saying I am engaging in political comedy and that it's just a dream to get a recommendation for Regent from the DPP of the Gerindra Party," said Lucky Hakim.

"There is even a photo of me with Mr. Muzani as the Secretary-General of Gerindra, how can this be called a comedy, sorry but this is the same as accusing Mr. Secretary-General Muzani as part of that comedy, wow this could lead to sanctions, if Mr. Muzani is offended and many other Gerindra cadres are offended, this could escalate," he added.

The man who is also currently running for the position of Indramayu Regent mentioned that the recommendation has been witnessed by many people.

"It's actually clear because there's a video when Mr. Secretary General handed over the recommendation, there are many witnesses, the documents are there, but this fact is called a dream? Yes, this is indeed a dream that has come true, Alhamdulillah," said Lucky.

This negative issue began from an action taken by several individuals claiming to be Gerindra cadres at the Gerindra DPC Indramayu office on August 15, 2024.

"That photo is just a regular visit, not the handover of a recommendation from the Secretary General to Lucky Hakim, which has been widely discussed on social media. What Lucky Hakim claims as the meeting in the photo is receiving a recommendation from the Secretary General of the Gerindra DPP, the people of Indramayu are actually smart and not influenced by political theatrics," said Hery Reang, who claims to be the Chairman of the Gerindra PAC in Anjatan Sub-district, Indramayu.

3. Symbolic Giving

Lucky explained again that the photo of him with the Secretary General of Gerindra, Ahmad Muzani, which is circulating was taken during the symbolic recommendation presentation on August 10, 2024, along with the candidates from several other districts.

"That photo was taken during the handover of the recommendation for the candidate for regent and deputy regent from the DPP Gerindra. I and Mr. Syaefudin faced Mr. Muzani as the Secretary General of the DPP Gerindra. He said congratulations on your struggle and please carry this mandate with full responsibility. We, the candidates, also thanked and accepted this mandate as best as we could, not just me and Mr. Syaefudin; there were many witnesses from the Gerindra leaders and also candidates supported by Gerindra from districts and cities across Indonesia," concluded Lucky.
