Although Beautiful & Slim, Paula Verhoeven Admits to Being Bullied Because of Her Tall Body Posture

Apparently, a beautiful woman like Paula Verhoeven is not immune to bullying. She revealed that she had experienced body shaming when she was still young because of her tall body.

“I was bullied when I was little, especially when I was in elementary school in Semarang. It was rare to see tall people, especially girls, so I was often bullied,” said Paula as quoted by Youtube Fuji An.

Nevertheless, Paula mentioned that the bullying she received was only verbal. No one dared to engage in physical confrontation with her.

"The bullying was only verbal, no one dared to do anything. They kept calling me tall," said Paula Verhoeven.

It is known that Paula has been taller than average since school. Even when she was in junior high school, her height had reached 170 cm.

"I have been tall since I was little. I remember being 170 cm in junior high school. Because at that time, I remember joining the basketball extracurricular or something, and someone said, '170, right?'. I have Dutch heritage," said Paula Verhoeven.

Now Paula's height has reached 183 cm. She also mentioned that her husband, Baim Wong, doesn't mind her height.

"(Disturbed) No, he just said 'don't wear heels', well 'you don't have to restrict me, I'm already tired', because every day I work wearing heels in fashion shows. So if it's my daily life, I wear flats," she concluded.
