Kapanlagi.com - Senior actress Ayu Azhari said that her son was initially shocked when he was behind bars for being involved in the illegal sale of firearms. Axel Djody Gondokusumo is suspected of being an intermediary and was detained as a suspect after being arrested by the police on December 29, 2019.

“He didn't expect to be in that situation (prison). Previously, he went out with me, came home still laughing, then he went out, and suddenly he was picked up. Then, when we arrived there, he was already wearing prisoner clothes,” said Ayu Azhari when met in Kemang, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/1) afternoon.

Ayu Azhari also experienced the same thing as her son, Axel. She admitted that she was shocked and devastated because she had to accept the reality of the case involving her son.

In addition, according to Ayu Azhari, Axel can now accept the problems that deceive him, because he feels happy being among other prisoners to spread spirit and motivation. Axel even refused when his family wanted to make efforts to move him to a better prison cell.

“So, he is inside there inviting (other prisoners) to introspect that everything has its own wisdom. Even though he is in confinement, yes, he still has a big heart, a great soul, he can surrender and be sincere. Because even in confinement, he wants to do good to others,” she said.

Ayu Azhari is also grateful for the wisdom behind Axel's case. This makes the star of the mermaid soap opera proud as a parent because she has successfully educated her child to be strong even in difficult situations.

“Alhamdulillah, I am grateful that Allah has given me the answer that I have successfully raised my child well, giving true love that is truly a mother's love. Alhamdulillah, he can survive now, no matter what condition he is in, he still continues to try to do good,” she concluded.
