Alumni DA 7 Impressed to See Support for Tasya and Valen

Kapanlagi.com - The magnificent stage of Studio 5 Emtek City, Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, bore witness to the splendor of the peak night of Dangdut Academy (DA) 7. Two of the best finalists, Tasya and Valen, delivered maximum performances in a bid to win the championship title in front of thousands of eyes. This extraordinary enthusiasm from the public was not only felt by the contestants but also caught the attention of the alumni present.

The DA 7 alumni, including Dinda, Mila, April, Syaqirah, and Muthia, admitted to being very impressed by the energy provided by the audience. 1. Proud April

April, one of the alumni, expressed her pride in seeing the enthusiasm of the community that did not wane until the final round of the competition. She felt excited to see the warm welcome given to her fellow competitors who were competing in the grand final.

"It was so much fun! I’m so proud! We are also very excited to see them (the audience) all. It’s so nice to see their enthusiasm like this," said April when met at Studio 5, Emtek City, West Jakarta, Friday (26/12/2025).

2. Intense Vocal Competition

This peak night not only showcased an intense vocal competition but also stunning collaborations that captivated the audience. The quality of the performances was deemed very professional, from vocal techniques to futuristic stage designs. This made the alumni feel proud of the rapid development shown by the performers.

"It was amazing! The best, no competition. It feels like we are the judges, I mean their performances were really impressive," they said.

3. Difficult to Find a Gap in the Finalists

Muthia also added that it was difficult to find a gap in the spectacular performances that night. The dedication shown by the finalists under the guidance of the coaches yielded very satisfying results. For her, the word "cool" doesn't even seem enough to describe the quality of that night's show.

"I have no comments, because it's just one word: so cool! Even more than that, it’s just really cool for them," said Muthia.

4. Alumni Remain Neutral

Regarding who deserves to be the champion between Valen and Tasya, the alumni chose not to side with either name. They realize that both Tasya and Valen have strong vocal characters and large fan bases. The final decision is entirely in the hands of the public through the support given.

5. Each Finalist Has Their Own Strengths

"Well, we don’t know about that, both have their own feelings. They have their own characteristics and also their own strengths. So we’ll just have to see later," Dinda wisely stated.

6. Finalists' Transformation Highlighted

The transformation of the participants during the quarantine period has also been a major point of focus. Syaqirah acknowledged that the Dangdut Academy program has successfully improved the singing abilities of the contestants significantly. The intensive learning process has greatly enhanced the vocal quality of each participant compared to when they first auditioned.

"What’s certain is that I’m much better at singing compared to when I first started; there were still a lot of shortcomings. Now, thank God, there has been progress," Syaqirah explained.

7. Committed Alumni Continue to Hone Their Skills

Although this season's competition is about to end, the alumni remain committed to continuously honing their skills in the professional music industry. They realize that the real struggle will only begin after the competition is over, so regular practice remains their main agenda.

"Yes, I have to keep practicing to improve myself for the better in the future. I also have to keep creating," concluded Mila.
