Alya Rohali Remembers Deceased Father, Writes Expressions of Longing While Shedding Tears

Well, recently Alya shared a little about her deceased father who passed away 11 years ago. At that time, her father passed away after a 5-year battle against cancer.

"My father was someone who never got angry or talked a lot, on the contrary, he always taught us about how he lived his life.. Honesty, hard work, idealism, loyalty, patience, and how he was so devoted to Allah. All of that, God willing, will be inherited by his children and grandchildren," Alya wrote in the caption of her post.

1. Fighting Until the Last Breath

Most people may have given up when fighting against advanced cancer. However, according to Alya's confession, the deceased never gave up on surviving until the end of his life.

"Father fought against salivary gland cancer that later spread to his lungs and heart. It was a very difficult moment for him, but father was very patient with all the treatments, all types of chemotherapy, surgeries, and even until the end of his life, father still wanted to continue with the treatments," said the 43-year-old woman.

2. Deep Longing

At the end of her writing, Alya didn't forget to pray for the deceased. She also expressed how much she missed her beloved father.

"Father, I miss you so much. I even wrote this while crying. May Allah make your illness a means of erasing your sins because you endured it with patience and maximum effort. May Allah widen your grave, make it a garden of paradise, and keep you away from the trials of the grave. Aya's prayer is always that Allah will gather us together again in paradise. Until that day comes, I can only wait for you in my dreams," she concluded.
