Kapanlagi.com - Amanda Manopo suddenly made a shocking statement on social media. Through her Instagram story, she said she is currently receiving threats from someone that scared her.
"It's really difficult to do something like this. Actually, I don't want to be like this. That will later become public consumption. Honestly, I'm going through a day where fear and anxiety towards someone," Amanda Manopo wrote.
"For you, I strongly encourage you to upload whatever you like and do strange things out there. After all the drama that has been created in your content, I hope you don't worsen the situation by using my name again," she continued.
Apparently, those threats were comments from netizens that often corner Amanda Manopo. Feeling uncomfortable, Amanda Manopo's family appointed lawyer Razman Arief Nasution to protect her legally.
"We observe posts like this, if it happens once or twice, then there might be malicious intent that we need to investigate. If we consider it to disturb Amanda's comfort, there will certainly be legal action," said Razman Arief Nasution during a press conference in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta.
"Throughout today, Amanda still forgives. But in the future, as of today, we will no longer tolerate it. Because we want Amanda to become a good artist figure and not be disturbed," he added.
As a mother, Henny Manopo feels sorry to see her child often receiving threatening comments. She is very concerned about her child's mental state.
"In principle, we don't want to go to legal action either. But I have a large Manopo family who sees all the writings on Instagram. I hope in the future there won't be any more threatening writings that corner her," said Henny Manopo.
"If Amanda doesn't want it, she doesn't like it, then let it go, as the Javanese say. But as her mother, I have worries," she concluded.
