Amanda Manopo's Tears During the Wedding Blessing, A Empty Chair Prepared for Her Late Mother

According to Angelica Manopo, Amanda's sister, her sister's wedding is one of the biggest hopes of their late mother. To honor and feel her presence, the family took the initiative to provide a special chair as a symbol in memoriam. 

"Yes. This is definitely a hope that our family desires, especially from our late Mama. That’s why we prepared one chair in memory of our late Mama," Angelica said when met in the SCBD area on Friday (10/10/2025).

"Where she indeed reminds us because this is a sacred moment, a moment that we can never repeat again, and we want to remember Mommy in that moment," she added.

Amanda's tears on her happy day were described as a mix of emotions. Besides being happy for finding her life partner, there was a deep sense of sorrow for not having her mother by her side on one of the most important days of her life.

"A lot. Definitely a lot. Yes, because she must be reminded that her mom isn't there during her wedding moment," she said.

Indra, Angelica's husband, added that this moment is the pinnacle of happiness for Amanda and Kenny. They have found each other to complement one another, a moment that will surely make any parent proud and emotional.

"She is touched. Touched, yes, definitely. This happy moment. Well, she has found her life partner, right? Kenny has also found his rib, hasn't he?" he explained.
