When met in Kuningan, South Jakarta recently, Amanda Rawles admitted that the cost of living in Australia is very expensive. Starting from buying food to renting a place to stay, the prices are not cheap, especially since she only focuses on studying without accepting job offers while in Australia.

"Yes, it feels very much. Especially since I didn't work there, only went to school, so the expenses for accommodation and snacks felt much more outside," said Amanda Rawles.

Feeling the difficulty of living in Australia, Amanda Rawles finally had to live frugally. She did this to minimize financial expenses when going out of the house.

In addition, to reduce living costs, Amanda chose to live with her relatives. Despite that, Amanda tried to adapt until she finally got used to it.

"So I minimize my expenses while there. So I also live with my family there," she said.

"There are adjustments because in Indonesia people are busy working, so for several years they haven't studied anymore. It's been a long time, there have been some adjustments, but overall everything is going smoothly," he concluded.
