Ameer Azzikra, the Son of the Late Ustaz Arifin Ilham, Proposes to a Girl Known Through Instagram

Kapanlagi.com - Ameer Azzikra, the younger brother of Alvin Faiz, has recently held an engagement process with a hijab-wearing girl named Nadzira Safa. Due to the pandemic, the event was very brief but still left an impression.

"Alhamdulillah, today the engagement process went smoothly, easily, and quickly. But I am still not relieved because the marriage contract has not been done yet. It started before noon and finished right on the call to prayer for noon prayer. The initial plan was after noon prayer, but because we wanted to shorten the time for holding the event during the pandemic, we moved it earlier," said Ameer when met in the Kalideres area, West Jakarta, on Saturday afternoon (22/5/2021).

1. Starting from Instagram

Ameer also told the story of how he first met his future wife. It turns out it all started from following each other's Instagram accounts. When they finally met, Nadzira was able to impress Ameer.

"I first knew this candidate from Instagram. Just following each other, then we were busy with our studies. Then not long after, we met during a grand dhikr at Masjid Az Zikra. From that meeting, masha Allah, I was amazed," said the 20-year-old man.

2. Dreaming of a Future Wife

Initially, Ameer hadn't thought about getting married. But suddenly he had a dream. After speaking with scholars, habibs, and ustazes, a plan was made to accelerate the marriage.

"At the beginning of this year, I had a dream of meeting my future wife out of nowhere. Then we started discussing, seeking guidance through istikharah, and consulting with scholars, teachers, and habibs. Alhamdulillah, we have reached today," said Ameer, who revealed that the wedding ceremony will be held on June 10th.
