Ammar Zoni Faces First Trial Related to Drug Case

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Ammar Zoni will face his first trial for alleged drug abuse at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (22/8/2023). This was announced by the South Jakarta State Prosecutor's Office (Kejari), Reza Prasetyo. He stated that they have received the case file of Ammar Zoni since August 1, 2023.

"We have received the transfer from the investigator since August 1, 2023. Then the South Jakarta District Court, the first trial will be held on Tuesday, August 22. More details can be explained by Mr. Kasipidum," said Reza at the South Jakarta State Prosecutor's Office on Monday (20/8/2023).

"Regarding the MAA case, we have received the determination letter from the panel of judges. The trial will be held tomorrow, Tuesday," added Hafidz, the Kasipidum of the South Jakarta State Prosecutor's Office.

1. Schedule Not Yet Certain

However, Hafidz cannot confirm the schedule for Irish Bella's husband's first trial. What is clear is that Hafidz, during the day, Ammar Zoni was already at the South Jakarta District Court.

"To adjust the time, it is possible that the person concerned is already at the South Jakarta District Court. The first agenda is the reading of the indictment," he said.

Then, Hafidz conveyed that Ammar Zoni's case files had been declared complete. Therefore, Ammar Zoni's case regarding drug allegations will proceed to trial.

"The case files, evidence, and the suspect have been handed over by the investigator. They have been transferred to the South Jakarta District Court. For now, MAA's case has entered the realm of trial," he said.

2. Ammar Zoni's Case

As is known, Ammar Zoni was arrested by the police for alleged abuse of the drug type sabu. The father of two children was arrested in Sentul, West Java.

Along with the arrest, the police also seized evidence in the form of 1 gram of sabu narcotics. This is the second time Ammar Zoni has had legal issues related to drugs. In 2017, Ammar Zoni Bella was also temporarily detained by the authorities for possessing marijuana.
