Angel Lelga Admits Difficulty in Convincing People Not to Commit Adultery

Her efforts have paid off. The public now realizes that what Vicky Prasetyo accused her of is not true after the Prosecutor demanded Vicky be sentenced to eight months in prison.

"After the demand yesterday, people finally knew the truth. Because not everyone understands this story, this issue. What most people know is that there was a man at Angel Lelga's house without knowing the chronology, and this is Vicky Prasetyo's success in tarnishing my name," said Angel Lelga when met in the Mampang area, South Jakarta, on Monday (7/12/2021).

1. Not Easy to Convince the Public

At first, Angel Lelga did not deny that it was very difficult for her to dismiss the accusation of adultery. It is not easy to convince the public. Moreover, Vicky Prasetyo recorded the incident of the raid when she was with another man.

"Deleting news is not easy. I don't have the energy and I have to speak the truth in the media. Finally, I asked for legal protection and finally everything was proven and answered," she said.

As is known, the case between Angel Lelga and Vicky Prasetyo occurred in November 2018. At that time, Vicky raided Angel Lelga's house and accused Angel, who was still his wife, of committing adultery with Fiki Alman.

2. Report the Accusation of Adultery

Vicky also reported Angel Lelga to the police with an accusation of adultery. However, the report was stopped because there was no strong evidence to suggest that Angel Lelga committed adultery.

Then, Angel Lelga, who was not satisfied with Vicky's actions, took legal action by reporting Vicky to the police for defamation and Articles 311 and 335 of the Criminal Code.

3. Previously Detained in Salemba Detention Center

Angel Lelga's report is being processed by the police. Vicky Prasetyo was previously detained in Salemba Detention Center, Central Jakarta, before his detention suspension was granted.

The case is currently ongoing at the South Jakarta District Court, and during the trial for the reading of the indictment held on Thursday (1/7/2021), the Prosecutor demanded Vicky Prasetyo to be sentenced to eight months in prison for allegedly violating Article 335 Paragraph 1 of the Indonesian Criminal Code.
