Angel Lelga is Amazed by Wagra Ambon who Still Preserves Traditional Customs

Kapanlagi.com - Artist Angel Lelga recently attended the aqiqah event of a child named Husein Latuconsina, a YouTuber who is also a child model in Pelauw Haruku, Ambon on Sunday (23/5/2021). This is Angel Lelga's second visit to Ambon. Angel Lelga said that her arrival in Ambon felt special. Because, as soon as she arrived there, she was warmly welcomed by the local residents.

"This time it's really special because from the beginning, when I arrived, going to one of the areas we crossed again, we were greeted with a welcome, given a necklace, like a welcome sarong, then we went into the ship but the ship was walking. We walked and then we went around inside, and then we had to visit several houses there," said Angel Lelga, Sunday (23/5/2021).

Angel Lelga's admiration for the people of Ambon does not stop there. In addition to mutual cooperation, Angel Lelga sees that the local residents still adhere to their customs and traditions.

"When I arrived here, I saw their traditions and I participated in their rituals. Oh, it turns out that Ambon really takes great care of their customs and traditions, and their solidarity is very strong," she said.

"I am amazed again in that village, everyone helps each other and I had a lot of communication. After my show, I communicated with them. I want to further understand Ambon and its traditions," continued Angel Lelga.

2. Introducing Ambon Culture

According to Rakib Latuconsina, the father of Husein Latuconsina, he intentionally invited Angel Lelga to his hometown not only to entertain the local residents. However, he also wants to introduce Ambon culture to Angel Lelga.

"So, yesterday our family intentionally invited her friends (Angel Lelga). The first goal is to provide knowledge to Angel, that in our village there are customs like this, and secondly, personally and as a family, especially for Husein," said Rakib Latuconsina.

"I want to show Husein and his mother, who is not from Ambon, that we should preserve the culture that our ancestors practiced in the past," concluded Rakib Latuconsina.
