In December 2019, Vicky Prasetyo was officially named a suspect by the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police. After six months passed, it was revealed that the case file was complete and ready to be prosecuted. He will be brought before the South Jakarta State Prosecutor's Office.

"On June 22, the investigators from the South Jakarta Police sent a letter to Vicky to be presented to the prosecutor, which is the second stage of evidence and suspect submission for prosecution. The implementation was supposed to be yesterday, but it was postponed until next Tuesday," said Ramdan Alamsyah, who was appointed as Vicky's lawyer when interviewed by the media on Friday (3/7/2020).

Vicky Prasetyo believes that what he did at that time was the right thing to do. Now, when the issue is being prosecuted with him as a suspect, he is ready to face anything to fight for his dignity as a head of the family who has been wronged.

"Vicky is a true man in my opinion. 'I am responsible for what I did,' that's what he said. 'And I did it to protect the integrity of my family, I have the right religiously, legally, I have the right to protect it.' Now, is he ready? He is ready to go through this process until it's finished," said Ramdan firmly.

"He also said to me, 'Bro, let's fight, let's fight in the true sense, defending what is true is true, what is wrong is wrong. The truth is blamed, the wrong is justified.' Vicky is ready to fight for his rights as a man, and to protect his dignity and honor as a husband. Vicky fights for his status as a wronged husband. He maintains his dignity but is put in a guilty position," he concluded.
