These weapons are known as Dante's mainstay in the Devil May Cry game series, featuring rapid-fire capabilities that suit his stylish combo actions.

The pistols were crafted by a talented gunsmith named Nell Goldstein. In the anime version, Nell will also appear and play a direct role in the story. Her presence is quite interesting, considering that in the game version, she never really appears directly but has an important role in Dante's life.

2. The Return of Old Characters and Interesting Easter Eggs

Nell is not just a new character. In the lore of Devil May Cry, she is depicted as someone who has a close relationship with Dante, even serving as a mother figure to him in the 2002 prequel novel. Additionally, she has a connection with the character Nico, who appears in Devil May Cry 5 as Nero's support.

Interestingly, there are small details that have been brought back in this season. One of them is the engraving on the Ivory pistol that reads 'For Tony Redgrave, By .45 Art Warks.' This reference points to Dante's old identity when he was still using the alias Tony Redgrave.

In the latest snippet, the character Lady even mentions that the engraving is related to Dante's 'old mercenary alias', strengthening the connection to his rather mysterious past.

3. The Conflict Grows Bigger, The Action Gets Crazier

This second season seems to bring a larger conflict. The DARKCOM organization that was previously introduced is now launching a massive invasion into the demon world. This situation clearly forces Dante to step in with full power.

While it's not yet clear if Dante's past will be explored in more depth, one thing is certain: the action in this season will be more intense. With increasingly powerful enemies and a wider scale of conflict, Dante needs all the weapons and abilities he has to protect humanity.
