Annisa Pohan Attends, Happy Djarot Leads Social Action of Kebaya Foundation for Children with Disabilities

Kapanlagi.com - Indonesian Heritage Kebaya Foundation or Kebaya Foundation held a meeting and social action. Not just an ordinary meeting, but Kebaya Foundation also provided assistance to the Disabled Children Development Foundation (YPAC).

This meeting was held at The Teracce Golf Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (14/6/2023). The event was attended by the Chairman of Kebaya Foundation Tuti Roosdiono, the Chairman of the Social Action and Reunion Committee of Kebaya Foundation Santi Tio, and Annisa Pohan, the wife of Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).

"We are very happy to be able to gather with the members of the foundation and also remember the values of humanity and concern for others," said the Chairman of Kebaya Foundation DKI Jakarta, Happy Djarot, at The Terrace Golf Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (14/6/2023).

"Kebaya Foundation and YPAC have a very important role in promoting social inclusion and providing opportunities for children with disabilities to grow and develop as best as possible," he added.

Happy revealed that Kebaya Foundation has the motto 'With Kebaya, Indonesian Women Empower, Cultured and Personalized with Pancasila'. Therefore, they are currently advocating for the declaration of 'National Kebaya Day' and 'Kebaya Goes to UNESCO'.

"We don't just meet for ordinary reunions. As much as possible, in every event we emphasize the sharing element. Sharing with others, especially those who really need it, so that the presence of Kebaya Foundation is truly beneficial to the public," he said.

Meanwhile, Annisa Pohan, who also attended the event, expressed her appreciation for the action taken by Kebaya Foundation. Because through kebaya, they can share with others.

2. Since Childhood, She Likes Kebaya

"Alhamdulillah, I received an invitation from the Kebaya Foundation, this deserves appreciation because through kebaya, we can share. Earlier, I also provided social assistance because everything we do must be useful," said Annisa Pohan.

Currently, kebaya is being fought for the existence of the 'National Kebaya Day' and 'Kebaya Goes to UNESCO'. Annisa herself admitted that since she was a child, she has liked wearing kebaya. According to her, wearing kebaya is the identity of Indonesian women.

"I have been fond of wearing kebaya since I was a child because it is the identity of Indonesian women, anyone who wears kebaya has a beautiful and outgoing aura, this is an identity for Indonesian women that must be preserved," said Annisa Pohan.
