"It started with acne around my nose and mouth that I thought was maskne, then it appeared on my forehead and cheeks. Usually, I let my acne disappear on its own, but this one seems to take a long time, even though my period is still far away," she wrote in the caption @hennyyrahman.

2. Received Advice from Mother

The persistent acne on her face made Henny Rahman decide to seek treatment. However, her plan was canceled when she received advice from her mother not to undergo treatment as it could be a symptom of pregnancy.

"I told my mom that I wanted to get treatment, but suddenly she said, 'not yet, who knows it's a pregnancy hormone.' I immediately thought and searched for information," she added.

3. A Faint Line Appears

After receiving advice from her mother, Henny Rahman decided to take a pregnancy test. The first test showed a faint line. Having never experienced this situation before, Henny Rahman kept the test result in a drawer. Meanwhile, still unsure about the result, Henny Rahman asked her friend who happened to be a midwife.

"Because I was really curious, on day 5 before my period I took a pregnancy test and the result showed a faint line. Then I put it back in the plastic wrap wrapped in tissue and kept it in the drawer. But I asked my midwife friend, she said that a faint line is positive. And she asked me to take the test again. The next day I tested again and the result was faint but slightly more visible. I chatted with my obgyn and was immediately declared pregnant. (By the way, I've never taken a test with a faint line before, I didn't understand so I just kept it instead of throwing it away)," she wrote.

4. Took Pregnancy Test 6 Days in a Row

Henny Rahman even took pregnancy tests repeatedly because she was still unsure about the faint positive result. Since day 5 before her period, Henny Rahman decided to take various types of pregnancy tests from regular to digital.

"But I was still curious and bought a digital pregnancy test, and the result was positive. Curious again because it was still not time for my period, finally on the day of my period on the 16th I tested in the afternoon, two lines as well. The last test on the morning of the 17th showed a clear two lines. 6 days in a row of pregnancy tests," she wrote in the caption @hennyyrahman.
