Apologize, Lutfi Agizal Clarifies About the Content Discussing the Word 'Anjay'

After his content became widely discussed and sparked various comments from netizens, Lutfi Agizal then made a clarification video. He also revealed where the initial idea for the discussion came from.

"I, Lutfi Agizal, as an influencer and YouTuber from the Lutfi Agizal channel, who is currently discussing educational content on the topic of the word 'anjay', will make a clarification and statement about what is happening right now," he said as quoted from the Lutfi Agizal Youtube channel, (31/8).

1. Plan to Create 5 Parts

"I didn't expect it to attract the attention of 150 million people who saw it on my Instagram. Of course, there were many positive comments and many negative comments. Many accepted this as education, while some didn't consider it as educational content.

With this, I want to clarify that what I'm doing, which is planned to have 5 parts discussing the word 'anjay', but only 2 contents have been released so far, discussing the Indonesian language and psychology.

I brought up this content after seeing a news article, and you already know what news I'm referring to. There was an online news article that mentioned that the word 'anjay' can have a negative meaning, containing words, like 'sorry' and 'dog'. That's why I created educational content by bringing in speakers, language experts, psychologists, religious leaders, and even lawyers," explained Lutfi.

2. End the Discussion of 'Anjay' Word

Lutfi's plan to thoroughly discuss the word 'anjay' was eventually canceled after seeing the pros and cons about the content. His decision to end the plan is because he doesn't want to make this issue a bigger problem.

"However, due to many things happening and many inputs I have received, I certainly don't want to make a big deal out of it. But because there are a lot of pros and cons that can cause friction, I want to end the discussion about the word 'anjay'," he said.

3. Apology

Lutfi also apologized if the content he created has hurt and been perceived as a problem.

"If it is considered a problem, if it hurts, me and my team sincerely apologize. Because my goal is not to hurt or divide this nation," he concluded.
