Ardina Rasti Responds to Harsh Criticism from Netizens Saying She Likes to Change Hair Colors

Including Ardina Rasti who took advantage of this moment to be creative with her hair color.

Ardina Rasti's unique way of expressing herself apparently was not well received by some netizens. The beautiful actress and singer responded to the criticism she received by explaining four important points regarding her hair, which is now bright pink like cotton candy, in a post on her personal Instagram account (@ardinarasti6).

"To some friends who complain and don't like my colorful hair.. I'm sorry," wrote Ardina Rasti.

1. Use Safe Hair Dye

Ardina Rasti admits that the hair dye she uses is safe. In addition, the color of her hair is not permanent and will fade over time.

"The colorful hair is not permanent, I use Vegan and ammonia-free hair dye for rainbow colors, so it doesn't last forever on the hair," she said.

2. Expression of Creativity

Ardina Rasti's new hair color is the work of her husband, Arie Dwi Andhika. She said her hair will return to its natural color when the corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic is over.

"This is just our creativity during the pandemic, because when our country is safe and we can all return to work and normal activities, it will be very easy for me to go back to dark colors again (like dark brown/black)," Ardina Rasti continued.

3. Children Love

In addition, Ardina Rasti also revealed that her new hair color is liked by Arana Langit Adria Respati, her only child who is still exclusively breastfed.

"Baby @anaralangit likes it, when I'm breastfeeding him, he even has a new toy, which is my cotton candy hair, heheheee," she said.

4. Not Harming Others

Lastly, Ardina Rasti, who is fed up with complaints from netizens, emphasized that she did not do anything negative. Instead, she feels proud to have her own distinctive characteristic that makes her unique.

"Some people even say 'not polite' 'not suitable for someone who already has a child to have colorful hair'... Well, we can never make everyone happy, but my principle is, as long as our actions do not harm others and make us happy, Why Not? I really like expressing myself with colors, from the time when I was a songwriter and singer, when I got unique characters in movies, until now I am proud to be Unique!" she concluded.
