Arguing with Rizky Febian About Lina's Burial Location, Teddy: I Have More Right

Kapanlagi.com - Before the burial procession of Lina on Saturday, (4/1), Lina's family had a disagreement with Teddy, her husband. They did not agree on the burial location for Lina and each had different wishes. This includes Rizky Febian, who wanted to bury his mother in Ciamis.

However, Lina's family and Ikky eventually agreed to Teddy's request. They buried Lina in Teddy's family burial site in one of the areas in Bandung, West Java.

After the burial and tahlilan event, Teddy explained his dispute with Lina's family and Ikky. He felt that as her husband, he had the right to determine where Lina would be buried.

1. Lina and Teddy's Relationship Not Approved by Family

According to Cumicumi.com, Teddy revealed that his late wife's family was not close to him. Lina herself was also not close to her own family during her life.

"Actually, I was the one entitled to it because I was her husband. Previously, her family was not close to her mother (Lina). They didn't agree with me. They were still thinking about being millionaires and preferred to sleep in the palace," said Teddy.

According to Teddy, Lina never cared about wealth like her family did. Regarding the choice of burial location, Teddy believes it was a trust given by the late Lina before her death.

"My mother (Lina) herself was not materialistic or concerned about wealth. She had a problem with the burial location. It was already entrusted, no need to be in the heroes' cemetery or elsewhere. It should be kept private. That's why she was placed in my family's place," he emphasized.

3. Separate Tahlilan

The feud between Teddy and Ikky and Lina's family is not just about the funeral. They also disagree on the location for tahlilan, a prayer sent after death.

Teddy chose to hold it at his friend's house, named Pupung. Meanwhile, Lina's family chose to hold tahlilan at her younger sibling's house in Cileunyi, Bandung.

"So, my mother is considered an adopted child by Teh Pupung's family. At first, I wanted to be here, but then they said it was in Panyawangan. Teh Pupung said it's already there. So I thought, there are many people praying in different places, like in Cirebon, they said there's a tahlilan for their family. In Subang, there's one, and also in Panyawangan. And in Banjaran too. Many people are praying, alhamdulillah. It just happened that the little one was taken to Banjaran, so I went there as well. We ended up holding it there. Because that was Lina's previous request, it should be there," he said.
