Ari Lasso Regarding the Dearly Joshua Controversy, Lawyer: Not His Level to Entertain

In the press conference, Hendarsam emphasized the main focus that his side will take if this issue continues down the legal path. "So we will focus on the legal issues if there are indeed legal problems. So it's more towards that direction," said Hendarsam at the press conference in South Jakarta, Wednesday (17/12/2025).

Hendarsam explained that until now there have been no legal reports implicating Ari Lasso or Dearly Djoshua. Therefore, the stance taken is still defensive and cautious, while monitoring the ongoing situation.

"Yes, so we are currently being defensive and on guard in case there are indeed legal actions taken by Sister AT against Ms. Dearly perhaps, and of course specifically against Mr. Ari will certainly come into that whirlpool," said Hendarsam.

In addition, Hendarsam also suggested that Ari Lasso should not engage with the polemic that is developing in the public space. According to him, direct involvement could potentially worsen the situation and does not provide any benefit for his client.

"I think this way, from my perspective, from our perspective, it's not on Mas Ari's level to engage like that, right? It won't benefit him," said Hendarsam.

The polemic of alleged threats began from a conversation between Ari Lasso and Ade Tya. After that conversation, Ade Tya claimed to be shocked because he received a threatening voice message from Dearly Djoshua.  In the voice message, Ade Tya was accused of behaving inappropriately for allegedly flirting with Ari Lasso. This accusation then drew public attention and became a topic of discussion on social media.

In the midst of public scrutiny, Ari Lasso chose to remain calm and leave the handling of this issue to his legal counsel. This cautious attitude is a first step to ensure that this polemic can be addressed proportionally and remains within the legal framework.
