The supporters who witnessed Ario Bayu's actions were finally moved to help clean up the stadium from scattered trash. The #DatangBersihPulangBersih movement had actually been done in previous U-17 World Cup matches before Indonesia vs Morocco.
However, at that time it was not only Ario Bayu who led, there were also Shintya Mariska, and Ikram Afro (Ikram Rizal) who first started the #DatangBersihPulangBersih campaign. The #DatangBersihPulangBersih movement was apparently initiated by by.U, a subsidiary of one of the sponsors of the 2023 U-17 World Cup, Telkomsel.
"The #DatangBersihPulangBersih movement, together with Anak by.U and Gadis Kresek, will be present and invite Indonesian supporters, especially young people, to join in helping maintain cleanliness until the end of the World Cup match on December 2, 2023," said Ario Bayu.
