As a result of shouting on Instagram, an influencer with the initials IK has been reported to the police for defamation

Kapanlagi.com - Lawyer Razman Arif Nasution, together with his client, Dr. Oky Pratama, will report the influencer named Italiani Ikmal for allegedly defaming his good name. The incident began when Italiani shouted on social media Instagram after receiving treatment at a clinic located in South Jakarta.

When met in Kemang, South Jakarta, on Friday (10/7), according to Rezman, the influencer had already engaged in provocative behavior. Not only that, Razman suspected that the person in question carried out this action because they had a specific purpose, as they had seen the chat history of the influencer.

"In our investigation, there have been several violations of the ITE Law that can reasonably be attributed to Italiani Ikmal. In the (insta story), there are appeals that provoke and judge the clinic. I suspect there is a motive, but we do not know whether it is from a business competitor or someone who is jealous of this clinic," said Rezman Arif Nasution.

In addition, in the same occasion Dr. Oky recounted the chronology of the incident, stating that Italiani claimed to have not been served for 2 hours. However, through surveillance camera observation, it was proven that she was always served from the beginning until the end of the treatment.

"Well, here she provokes because she says she was not served for 2 hours. Whereas in the CCTV it is proven that she came and was served, registered even though it wasn't her turn. The funny thing here is that there are many types of facials, but it doesn't make sense that someone with a high-class style would choose a facial that costs only 100 thousand," said Oky.

2. Not Part of an Endorsement

Not only that, according to Dr. Oky, out of fear of being reported, Italiani Ikmal deleted all the photo and video posts on her social media account. The doctor from Palembang also affirmed that Italiani was a previously unknown patient and not part of an endorsement.

"What's behind all of this? Well, if what she experienced is true, then please show the evidence. She is also not my previous patient, so it implies that she has studied this clinic. Whether there is someone instructing her or something else, I don't know," concluded Oky.

Italiani Ikmal violated article: 27 paragraph 3 of Law on Information and Electronic Transactions number 11 of 2008 and amendment to Law on Information and Electronic Transactions number 19 of 2016. She is facing a prison sentence of 4 to 6 years.
