Kapanlagi.com - The name Niyo is known as the vocalist of Nano Band. However, not many people know that he has also been building a business for a long time. The chosen business is different from most other artists.
Yes, since 2015, Niyo has been building a piercing service business. He founded Piercing Indonesia and started by selling piercing jewelry and accessories.
"But because the demand for piercing installation increased, I decided to seriously study the piercing procedure self-taught," said Niyo, as the founder of Piercing Indonesia to reporters recently.
Compared to a few years ago, recently piercing has become a lifestyle, especially for young people. Piercing can be a suitable experimental choice because it is not as drastic or permanent as tattoos.

However, even though piercings may seem attractive, you may still not be ready for all the risks. It could be because of fear of needles, worry about the pain, or anxiety about other things.
Niyo also explains the things that need to be prepared if you decide to get a piercing.
"First, about anatomy. Studying each person's anatomy is important because everyone has their own characteristics and uniqueness. Second is the budget, prepare the money you will spend to pay for professional piercing services. Third, it is not recommended to get more than two piercings at once," Niyo explains.
"The fourth is about the quality of the jewelry. Poor quality jewelry can prolong or delay the healing process. Lastly, choose the right piercer or professional. It is important for you to find a great piercer. They will help you choose and suggest what is suitable and allowed to be worn or what restrictions should be avoided," Niyo continues to explain.

It wasn't easy for Niyo to run his business. He had to search for information about business and piercing from various sources. As time went on and with his determination, Niyo is now starting to enjoy what he has been fighting for.
"It was really difficult at first, because I didn't have a mentor in this business. I learned everything on my own, attending seminars, forcing myself to read books even though I don't really like reading. The first three years were the toughest. I am grateful that now I can start enjoying the results, and piercing has become my new passion, surpassing music," said Niyo.
Niyo, who is now more focused on running his business, is starting to open multiple branches. Since 2019, he has opened the first professional piercing studio in Bandung. He is also planning to open branches in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bali.
"We are currently preparing to open our 5th branch in Yogyakarta," concluded Niyo.
