"Hopefully Palestine and Israel can resolve their issues, and Palestine can live in peace. I pray every prayer because here we are happy, but in other parts of the world, there are bombs," said Ashanty in Gandaria, South Jakarta, on Sunday (11/5/2023).
The feelings of the people in Palestine even caused Ashanty to have trouble sleeping. She felt a certain fear.
"Sometimes I can't sleep, thinking 'what if there's suddenly a bomb'. Mbak Vida wrote about what if there's a bomb while we're sleeping. It immediately crosses my mind. We are very grateful to live in Indonesia, Alhamdulillah," said Ashanty.

Ashanty stated that what is happening in Palestine is not a religious issue, but a humanitarian issue. Moreover, for years, the Palestinian people have been victims of the aggression of the Israeli military.
"This is truly a matter of humanity. Because if we only look at yesterday when Israel was attacked by Hamas once, a few years before that, Palestine had already been oppressed," said Ashanty.
"I am not an expert and I don't fully understand. But one thing is clear, whatever they do is wrong. Babies, pregnant women become victims," concluded Ashanty.
