Ashanty Joins WA Group with KD & Aurel for Azriel's Wedding Preparation

"I already have a group with Gemi, Aurel, and Azriel; the four of us have a group and with Sarah's family, we already have a group, so we are always intense in discussing that," said Ashanty when met in the Radio Dalam area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (22/4/2026).

This intense communication is carried out so that no details are overlooked in preparing the dream wedding for Azriel and Sarah. Although the parents seem very enthusiastic, Ashanty emphasizes that they still respect the main wishes of the bride and groom.

Ashanty admits that sometimes parents tend to be busier and more involved in wedding preparations compared to their children. However, she feels very happy to be involved again in the sacred moments of her children after successfully marrying Aurel earlier.

"But the happiest thing for all of us is that we are very happy because we can prepare for the wedding of our child again, because Gemi's wedding to Amora is still far away, and mine to Arsy is also quite far, so we are really preparing for this," said the woman who is affectionately called Bunda.

Regarding the concept and location of the wedding, Ashanty is still reluctant to disclose details to the media. She chooses to maintain privacy and give Azriel the opportunity to announce the happy news at the right time.

Azriel's stepmother is also trying not to be a selfish parent in making decisions regarding the decorations and customs that will be used. She always listens to the opinions of Azriel and Sarah so that both feel comfortable on their wedding day.

"We still don't want to be selfish parents like 'We prepare everything' so that Jiel has to be with Sarah, whatever she wants, however she wants it," explained the singer who once duetted with Anang Hermansyah.
