Ashanty Shares Experience of Being a Militant Fan of Lee Min Ho, Even Fighting for Her Idol

Kapanlagi.com - Ashanty recently caught the Korean fever. As known, some time ago, the singer of Kesakitanku uploaded a photo resembling a scene from the viral drama Crash Landing On You. Not alone, she even managed to persuade her husband, Anang Hermansyah, to pose together.

In her latest confession, Ashanty openly talks about her love for the handsome actor Lee Min Ho. Not just an ordinary fan, the 35-year-old woman even experienced a period of being a militant fan who got angry when her idol was insulted.

"I just understood what it feels like to be a fan. It's my first time being a fan like this, fighting, getting upset because my idol is being criticized, being called ordinary, being called all sorts of things hehe. While thinking, it's understandable that whether you know your idol or not, whether you know their life or not, you have to defend them! Is it normal? Whether you know them or not, whether you know their life or not," Ashanty wrote while uploading a photo of Lee Min Ho on her Instagram account.

However, it didn't last long. Slowly, Ashanty realizes that being a fanatic fan is not the right thing to do. She now tends to admire Lee Min Ho's works more than his personal life.

"But I learned, I don't want to be a crazy fan, pretending to know everything, because I'm only amazed by his work and his handsomeness hehe, not his life or his personality," she continued.

Ashanty also discussed a similar phenomenon that occurs in Indonesia. She advised everyone to be smarter when admiring someone, instead of being rude and pretending to know everything.

"This also happens in Indonesia. We can't differentiate between admiring their work, the person, or their personal life. Sometimes fans even fight and defend their idols, as if they know their idols the most, eventually bringing down others. But we don't know their real life. What appears sometimes doesn't match with reality. Be a smart fan. Just like those of you who like or are fans of us? Hopefully, it's the same as me to oppa Lee Min Ho," Ashanty concluded.
