Asking Husband to Remarry Because of Not Getting Pregnant, Fitri Carlina Gets Angry

Kapanlagi.com - A few months ago, dangdut singer Fitri Carlina admitted that she was feeling down. The reason was not only because she had not been able to have children after almost six years of marriage, but also because of pressure from various parties, including comments from netizens.

She went through the worst two months by crying and lamenting. Eventually, she visited a psychologist for consultation.

"From the end of 2019 until early this year (feeling down), but the intensity was for two months until I felt like my mental state was bleeding. I cried every day, maybe because I was so depressed," Fitri said when met in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (30/7/2020).

Feeling hopeless, Fitri Carlina even asked her husband, pilot named Hendra Sumendap, to marry again. However, her statement was met with anger. Once his wife had calmed down, Hendra explained soothingly.

"We have done everything we can, we have done medical tests, we have visited various clinics, I have even gotten sick from taking medicine, eating this and that, it's enough. That's why if I can't make you happy, 'Father's fortune with someone else'. So of course Mas Hendra got angry, I got scolded because it's not that easy," Fitri said.

"I don't agree (with being asked to remarry) because we have been through everything from the beginning, some of our dreams have come true. We are happy now. Insha Allah, we will be blessed in the future," Hendra continued when met in the same place.

2. Adoption Plan for a Child?

When asked about having a child through in vitro fertilization or adoption, Fitri Carlina said it would be a last resort. For now, as long as there are still other options, she will try to pursue them.

"The decision to adopt a child or use in vitro fertilization is a big one, and my family is still optimistic about my health. So that will be a very final decision, my parents and family still think that way, not at this time. But if we have tried everything else," she concluded, singer of the song "ABG Tua."
