Asserting that his client is not a user, the Legal Counsel cites Roy Kiyoshi's reasons for consuming drugs

Kapanlagi.com - Legal counsel Roy Kiyoshi, Henry Indraguna speaks up about how his client initially used drugs containing psychotropic substances. He revealed that Roy Kiyoshi initially suffered from insomnia.

When met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Monday (11/5), Henry firmly stated that his client is not a user. He also explained why his client's insomnia could relapse.

"He's not a user, Roy is sick. We have shown, we have proven, we have also provided all the evidence to the investigators, that since 2017 he has been sick (insomnia), in 2019 he got sick again, and in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, it relapsed. That's why he bought the medicine and he didn't know that the medicine contained psychotropic substances of category 4, if he knew, he wouldn't dare to buy it," said Henry Indraguna.

"Why did Roy's insomnia relapse? Because Roy had been at home for almost two months, he had mental distancing, stress. He couldn't sleep, so he took action to buy medicine online. So basically, Roy is a victim and he is sick," he continued.

Henry also mentioned why Roy Kiyoshi did not consult a doctor before taking the medicine. According to him, Roy is a paranoid person because the COVID-19 pandemic has made the presenter Karma afraid to go to the doctor.

"Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government has advised to stay at home. Roy is a paranoid person. That's why he is afraid to go to the doctor, afraid to go to the pharmacy, so everything is done online because he hasn't slept for three days," said Henry.

2. Widely Circulated Medicine

In addition, according to him, the medicine consumed by Roy Kiyoshi is widely available online. Therefore, Henry hopes that the assessment request of his client can be considered and granted.

"He bought it from a large online store and anyone can access and buy it, because there are no restrictions. So there are many things to consider, and this assessment will be granted to Roy," he concluded.
