Attending Paris Fashion Week, 8 Photos of Bubah Alfian Bringing an Important Vision to Introduce the Beauty and Fashion Industry of Indonesia to Overseas

Bubah is grateful to be able to set foot in Paris Fashion Week. With his experience in the beauty industry as an MUA, Bubah was able to attend an event that was also attended by famous artists such as Camila Cabbelo and Kendal Jenner. Indonesian artists Cinta Laura and Enzy Storia were also present.

"I was invited by a big brand to attend Paris Fashion Week. I was invited as a representative MUA from Indonesia," said Bubah Alfian to the media, through a short message, on Tuesday (3/10). "This career as an MUA is the biggest opportunity I have received and I am grateful for it," continued the 37-year-old man.

In that opportunity, Bubah also brought a big vision. He and his friends want to introduce the fashion industry in Indonesia to other countries. When he told the other invited guests about it, they seemed enthusiastic.

"Indeed, I was invited to Paris Fashion Week to make the beauty industry in Indonesia even bigger and more well-known in the world. In Paris, we received a very positive response from those who came, they really liked it and we brought many things. Then, I talked about the rich culture and heritage of Indonesia, which can be combined with the fashion industry. The response was good and very commendable," he explained.

Before being in Paris Fashion Week, Bubah also attended New York Fashion Week, Indopop, and several events from the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in America. Even when he was at New York Fashion Week, he brought the Jember Fashion Carnaval (JFC) flag, which he felt was worthy of being introduced to the world.

"Honestly, I'm very proud to be able to bring JFC to New York because it's the dream of the JFC kids to have their work known worldwide, and it has been realized. Why did we bring JFC? Because we want to help small and medium enterprises (UMKM) and young artists from all over Indonesia to become successful and be seen by the whole world," he said.

Bubah's efforts to introduce JFC to the world received support from Thariq Halilintar. Atta Halilintar's younger brother was willing to spend his own money to fly to the United States. "Thariq wanted to go because he wanted to support me and introduce Indonesian culture to America. He went using his own expenses, I didn't have a sponsor at that time. Luckily, they were very excited to see the fashion from JFC. They were very impressed because the clothes we made used recycled materials," he said.

Although he has been involved in the beauty and fashion industry for a long time, Bubah still has other big hopes for his career and his vision of introducing the Indonesian beauty industry to the world. "Hopefully in the future, we can bring Indonesia to a better place, bring the Indonesian beauty industry and the culture of the homeland to the world," he concluded.
