Attending the World Premiere of 'BEFORE, NOW & THEN' in Germany, Laura Basuki Decides to Return Home Upon Learning of Father-in-Law's Death

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news has come to the family of actress Laura Basuki. Her father-in-law has been confirmed to have passed away today, Monday (14/2).

The news was first known from Laura Basuki's Instagram Story post. At around seven o'clock in the evening, she posted a photo of her father-in-law with the caption 'Rest In Peace Pa'.

In the post, a black and white portrait of her father-in-law posing next to her grandson, Owen Sanjaya, can be seen. Along with the photo, the 34-year-old beautiful actress tagged her husband's Instagram account, Leo Sanjaya, and her two sisters-in-law.

This was also confirmed by Dianita, Laura's manager. "Yes, Laura Basuki's father-in-law has passed away," she said through a WhatsApp message.

2. Deciding to Return to Indonesia

As known, currently Laura Basuki is far away in Germany. She is attending the premiere of her film titled BEFORE, NOW & THEN which is competing at the Berlinale International Film Festival.

Upon learning that her father-in-law passed away, Laura immediately arranged her return. In about 14 hours she will arrive in Indonesia, unfortunately it is not yet known whether Laura will go directly to the funeral home or have to undergo quarantine.

"We already had a schedule to return to Indonesia when this sad news came," concluded Dianita.

Meanwhile, on her Instagram account, Laura also shared photos of her attending the Berlinale International Film Festival. There, she appeared elegant in a black two piece outfit from Chanel.
