Azriel Hermansyah Wants to Quit College and Join the Police Academy, Ashanty: I Disagree!

Kapanlagi.com - Lately, Azriel Hermansyah has been showing off his shooting and archery skills. And because he feels capable, the second child of Anang Hermansyah wants to join the Police Academy (Akpol).

Azriel is trying to express his desire and persuade Ashanty to give her approval.

"Mom, I've been practicing shooting, I've been practicing archery," said Azriel quoted from The Hermansyah A6 YouTube channel.

"What does being good at shooting and archery have to do with it?" Ashanty asked curiously.

"Well, I want to join the police school," answered Azriel.

1. Dropping Out of College

Upon hearing Azriel's words, Ashanty started to become confused. She still couldn't understand her son's request. Moreover, Azriel has only just entered his third year of college.

"You want to? Go to school based on your desires? Why didn't you say it earlier? Why now, after you can shoot and want to become a police officer?" Ashanty asked again.

"Actually, it's been a long time. But the situation back then wasn't suitable for me to talk to Mom about it. Now, I think it's the perfect time," Jiel replied.

"No, you've been in college for 2 years, and it's all in vain?" Ashanty firmly stated.

"I disagree," he added.

2. Ashanty Will Support If

Ashanty said that if Azriel had expressed this desire before he started college, she would definitely support him.

"Jiel, if you had talked about this before you went to college, Mom would have supported you. You used to be weak, and now you're only cool. Why now?" said the 35-year-old woman.

"Don't just because you're good at shooting and martial arts, you want to become a police officer," she continued.

3. Finish College First

For now, Ashanty wants Azriel to focus more on his studies, as he is already in his 5th semester. However, she does not reject the idea that after graduating, Azriel wants to join the Police Academy.

"No. It's good to become a police officer if it's from the beginning, from the start. It's strange to leave now, in the 5th semester, to go to police school. Just finish the Bachelor's degree, and after that, become a police officer," Ashanty concluded.
