Baby Mona Ratuliu Suffers from Atopic Dermatitis, Skin Covered in Red Spots Including the Face

Kapanlagi.com - Bad news comes from Mona Ratuliu. Her newborn baby in May, Numa Kamala Srikandi, is currently suffering from a skin disorder called Atopic Dermatitis.

Numa, as she is affectionately called, has been suffering from this disease for the past week. Recently, Mona gave an update on the condition of her fourth child, which has not improved yet. Despite that, Mona has already changed her diet for the sake of her baby.

"Update on Numa's Atopic Dermatitis (AD). The condition has not improved. Because Numa is exclusively breastfed, her mother has already been on a diet without seafood, eggs, milk, cheese, and their derivatives. She also avoids chicken and duck. So now she only eats vegetables and four-legged animals," Mona wrote in the caption of her post.

Until now, Mona herself is still unsure of the cause of Numa's illness. But one thing for sure, she continues to conduct several studies regarding her baby's care pattern.

"I'm just suspicious of the water. When bathing, Numa washes his face with mineral water that is usually used for drinking. What hasn't been tried is stopping the AC when sleeping at night. It's possible that Numa is allergic to cold or allergic to AC fungus. Let's try it tonight," Mona continued.

This is not the first time Mona's child has experienced Atopic Dermatitis. Previously, Nala also had a similar illness when she was a toddler. The wife of Indra Brasco also mentioned that there is no definite cure for this disease other than finding the source of the allergy.
