Back Sitting in the Defendant's Chair, Vanessa Angel Admits Trauma

Kapanlagi.com - Vanessa Angel is back sitting in the defendant's chair due to a drug abuse case. She, who has faced legal issues due to involvement in online prostitution, admits to being traumatized during the first trial at the West Jakarta District Court on Monday (31/8/2020).

"Well, what can I say, it's traumatizing. I have experienced legal problems before, and now I'm going through it again, so it's like, how should I deal with it, it's just traumatizing," said Vanessa Angel at the West Jakarta District Court on Monday (31/8/2020).

Vanessa, who is currently under city arrest, arrived at the West Jakarta District Court at around 10:00 AM accompanied by her husband, Bibi Ardiansyah. Vanessa also brought her baby along.

1. Delayed

Originally, the first trial of Vanessa Angel's case was scheduled to be held at 10.00 AM. However, due to certain circumstances, it was delayed and only started at 1.00 PM.

In the first trial, which was scheduled for reading the indictment, Vanessa Angel was charged under Article 62 of the Indonesian Law No. 5 of 1997 on Psychotropic Substances, in conjunction with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 49 of 2018 concerning Changes to the Classification of Psychotropic Substances in the Annex of Law Number 5 of 1997 on Psychotropic Substances.

2. Continuation of the Trial

The next trial will be held on September 7th with the agenda of hearing witness testimony.

As known, Vanessa Angel is a defendant in a drug abuse case for possessing 20 tablets of xanax, a type of psychotropic substance classified as group 4, without authorization.
