Bailu and Tian Xiwei Nominated for 100 Most Beautiful Faces in the World, Ranking Still Sparks Debate

Kapanlagi.com - The names Bailu and Tian Xiwei are again capturing the attention of the international public. These two Chinese actresses are said to be included in the nomination list for the 100 Most Beautiful Faces in the World by TC Candler. However, the widely circulated rankings on social media and international forums are still unofficial and have not been directly confirmed by the organizers.

Information circulating states that Bailu is ranked 90th, while Tian Xiwei is in 92nd place. However, until now, TC Candler has not released the complete list for 2025. This leaves the rankings as speculation and also sparks debate regarding the assessment mechanism and the possibility of international popularity bias.

1. Bailu Makes the List for the First Time

Bailu's entry into the 100 Most Beautiful Faces in the World has garnered special attention. This is the first time the actress has been mentioned as successfully making it onto this prestigious list. Rumors suggest that Bailu is ranked 90th, a significant achievement in her international career journey.

Bailu's rising popularity outside of China is said to be closely related to her latest historical drama titled Northbound. The drama was released globally on Netflix and is reported to have reached audiences in over 190 countries. This international exposure is considered a key factor in the increased global recognition of Bailu.

2. Tian Xiwei Makes the List for the Third Time and 2 Consecutive Years

Unlike Bailu, Tian Xiwei is mentioned to have entered the list again for the third time and for the last two years consecutively. In 2024, she is reported to be ranked 79th. Meanwhile, for 2025, rumors suggest her name has dropped to the 92nd position.

Despite the changes in her ranking, Tian Xiwei's popularity continues to rise. One of the moments that drew a lot of attention was her appearance on the red carpet at the Tencent Video All Star Awards. Her walking style, described as sweet yet cool, went viral with the hashtag TianXiweiWalksSoCool and attracted international fans.

3. Other Chinese Actresses Also Mentioned on the List

In addition to Bailu and Tian Xiwei, several other names of Chinese actresses are also mentioned to be on this unofficial list. Among them are Song Yuqi and Ning Yizhuo, who are known to be active in their careers and have a strong fan base in South Korea.

Their presence reinforces the notion that international popularity, especially outside of China, is one of the significant factors influencing the evaluation process, even though the official mechanism has not been publicly explained.

4. TC Candler's Controversial Assessment Mechanism

As the interim ranking list circulates, discussions and criticisms from netizens have also emerged. Many are questioning whether the TC Candler assessment system is still purely based on voting and curation, or if it has begun to be influenced by global popularity, especially in Western markets.

However, it should be emphasized that until now TC Candler has not announced the official list of the 100 Most Beautiful Faces in the World 2025. All circulating rankings are still predictions and not final.

5. Still Waiting for the Official Announcement

What is certain is that the inclusion of Chinese actresses in global discussions indicates the growing influence of the Chinese entertainment industry on the international stage.
