Bams, Former Vocalist of Samsons Band, Reveals the Cause of the Rare Cancer He Once Had

Kapanlagi.com - After a long absence, former vocalist of the band Samsons, Bams, surprised the public recently when he was diagnosed with a rare cancer despite leading a healthy lifestyle. Of course, because of this, he felt very shocked and devastated.

"When I found out I had cancer, I was down, who wouldn't be? I've been taking care of my health, not drinking, and then I get cancer. It's frustrating, I might as well drink something strange," said Bams when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (24/2).

Now the condition of the man named Bambang Raguna Bukit is much better after undergoing surgery to remove the cancer cells he had. He also explained the cause of the cancer he had.

"I used to push myself too hard in sports, but not anymore. What's the point of pushing too hard? Before, I used to exercise before work and after work, six times a week," said Bams.

"When I was diagnosed with skin and muscle cancer, I definitely did research. After that, my cancer spread to healthy people. Mostly to athletes and people who have had a lot of impact and exertion. On average, it affects people under 40 years old and very active people," he continued.

2. Possibility of Recurrence

Although he has undergone surgery to remove the cancer cells, Bams himself does not rule out the possibility that his disease could recur.

"Surgery, when it comes to cancer, even if it's said to be clean, it can still recur, that's what cancer is. If it's said to be healthy now, then it's healthy," said the 37-year-old man.

3. Take Care of Mood and Share with Close People

Bams also mentioned that the factors of stress and confusion could be the cause of the recurrence of cancer that he had experienced. To avoid this, as much as possible, he maintains his mood and mental condition by sharing with his close ones.

"If I have too much stress and confusion, it can relapse. That's the downside of any kind of cancer. Whether it's malignant or not, I wasn't malignant before, but unique, the possibility of getting a little bit. In the world, there are only 8 thousand people worldwide. That's why I often share with people, do a lot of meditation, and think logically. Keep the heart safe," he concluded.
