Through Youtube TonightShowNet, Raline Shah mentioned that she had experienced bullying as a child because she had a messy appearance.
"Being bullied was probably more like, when I was little, I was quite messy, and girls, you know. Because I used to be dark-skinned, I liked playing soccer, I liked swimming. Girls usually tend to be girly," she said.
Raline at that time even participated in the Malaysian national football team. This certainly made her father wonder about her.
"My father used to be like, 'why are you playing football' when actually it's just for skipping school, because if it's football, there will be tournaments here and there, so lazy," she said.
Although she used to be a tomboy, Raline gradually tried to change her appearance to be more feminine. This is because she wants to find a partner more easily.
"It seems like more feminine girls find it easier to get a boyfriend, oh maybe it's just survival instinct,” Raline said.
He also mentioned that frequently meeting foreign artists is a luck for him. "I think it's luck, keberuntungan juga. Aku suka dateng ke acara di luar negeri dan manajer aku juga ada di Amerika, dia selalu ngundang aku ke premiere dan ternyata yang membuat aku dekat ke mereka itu karena ternyata mereka suka dengan Indonesia," he concluded.
