Become a Witness in Wawan's Money Laundering Case, Aima Diaz: Not Afraid

Kapanlagi.com - The trial of the money laundering case involving Tubagus Chaeri Wardana alias Wawan resumed on Monday (9/3/2020). In the trial at the Central Jakarta Corruption Court, there were supposed to be nine witnesses, but only Aima Diaz, Laura Indriani, and Ama Liko Nicolaus attended. Meanwhile, several other well-known names, such as Irwansyah, Jenniffer Dunn, Catherine Wilson, and Rebecca could not attend due to other commitments.

When questioned by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Aima explained about living in an apartment owned by Wawan. She also admitted to buying a BMW car from Wawan for five million before losing contact.

"(Today) I explained what was stated in the examination in chief by the KPK yesterday. We discussed about the car, assets, and explained only that," said Aima.

1. Good Friend Wawan

Aima Diaz is indeed a good friend with Tubagus Chaeri Wardhana. However, she has no knowledge about the flow of funds.

"If I'm just a good friend with Mr. Wawan, there is no relationship whatsoever," said the owner of the name Aima Mawadah Warahmah.

2. Not Afraid

Furthermore, Aima Diaz expressed no fear of being a witness in Wawan's case. Because she is indeed innocent, let alone involved in money laundering.

"I don't feel afraid, because I have no connection to any flow of funds. I'm just cooperative," she said.
