Before Becoming a Convert, Natalie Holscher Admits to Having Received Guidance from a Dream

Kapanlagi.com - Natalie Holscher admits that she had received guidance before embracing the Islamic faith. In her latest content with Sule recently, this beautiful DJ revealed that the guidance came around 2012.

And from there, she started learning little by little about Islam. However, because she did not receive much guidance, it took her a long time before officially embracing Islam.

"At that time, I was still shooting with Mas Uya Kuya. Yes, it was in 2012," said Natalie Holscher as quoted from Sule Channel's YouTube, Friday (2/10/2020).

1. Starting From Roles in Soap Operas

Natalie tells again about the initial process when she started to be interested in the teachings of Islam. Starting from the shooting process, Natalie received a lot of praise when she wore a hijab. 

"Initially, it was in 2012 from a dream. At that time, I played the role of a naughty girl, who was drunk and clubbing. Then suddenly I disobeyed my mother, and then the role suddenly started praying. So I wore a headscarf, and the role was also praying," she explained. 

"Suddenly, the crew and others were talking like 'subhanallah' when I was wearing a hijab. Then I asked 'what does 'subhanallah' mean?' Well, it means praising," she continued. 

2. Having a Dream

After returning from shooting, Natalie then looked at her photos when she played the role of a Muslim woman. And when she was half asleep, she had a dream and heard someone repeatedly reciting the shahada. 

"Then, when I was half asleep, suddenly in my ear, there was a voice of a guy, like in a mosque, and the voice was really echoing. And he said from small to big, it repeated several times. He said ashaduallailahailallah waashhadulla muhammadarrasulullah. So it was repeated over and over again," she said. 

3. Sempat Ketakutan

Having received such an unusual dream, Natalie admitted to being scared. She then asked her Muslim friend about the incident. And apparently, guidance for Natalie came earlier. 

"Right there, I was scared, honestly scared. Then I ran, I called my friend, 'what's going on, why did I have such a scary dream? What kind of dream?' Do you know, Nat, actually you received guidance, if you have a dream like that, you receive guidance. Not necessarily someone who has been a Muslim since birth gets it. If you still don't believe, Nat, about guidance, someday it will be shown to you again, through whatever means," said the 27-year-old woman.
