Kapanlagi.com - This year's Eid al-Fitr, Roger Danuarta and Cut Meyriska are very happy because of the arrival of a new family member. They have just been blessed with their second child, who was born on April 22. The baby boy was named Jourell Kenzie Danuarta.
The presence of Jourell Kenzie Danuarta is the greatest gift for Roger Danuarta and Cut Meyriska. Although there is also sadness felt by them because this is the first Eid without Cut Meyriska's father who has passed away.
"It's a great gift, last Eid was the last Eid with Chika's father, this Eid is the first time the four of us celebrate together, it's really a blessing, a great gift," said Roger Danuarta when met at RS Bunda, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday (29/4).
Having just returned from the hospital, Roger Danuarta said there are no special preparations for Eid. They only plan to gather and eat together with their extended family.
"There are no special preparations, just the usual gathering and eating together with family. We don't know about Eid yet, if we're still in a pandemic situation, we'll see later. For sure, the gathering will be limited for the Eid family event," he explained.
After giving birth, Cut Meyriska will focus more on taking care of her baby and will not take any shooting jobs.
"I might still get offers for shooting, but if Chika needs to rest, I won't take them. I have no intention of taking leave. It all depends on Chika, if she feels like she can shoot, then we'll arrange the shooting schedule. If the doctor gives the green light, why not?" said Roger Danuarta.
However, it does not mean that Roger Danuarta prohibits his wife from taking a job after giving birth. He actually gives Cut Meyriska the freedom to do so as long as she is capable.
"No, there are no restrictions, as long as she is happy and capable of doing it, why not? Some people are prohibited from doing anything, they have to stay at home, can't go anywhere, become a housewife, and usually get stressed."” he concluded.
