Before Passing Away, Sopyan Dado Still Had Time to Joke & Video Call Family

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Sopyan Dado passed away on Thursday (28/3). The star of the soap opera Tukang Ojek Pengkolan (TOP) took his last breath at Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta, at 04:20 AM.

Sopyan Dado passed away after three days of treatment in the hospital. Clara Kaizer, who played Sopyan Dado's child character in the TOP soap opera, explained that the actor had experienced a critical condition.

"Yesterday he was critical, his heartbeat stopped at 3 PM. Then after regaining consciousness, he had a video call with his family, including me," said Clara Kaizer at the funeral home in Ciputat, Tangerang, on Thursday (28/3).

Before taking his last breath, Clara Kaizer visited Sopyan Dado at the hospital. She admitted that when she met the actor, his hands felt cold, but he could still be engaged in conversation.

"In the evening, I came, I visited him, we talked a little, we could still joke around. Indeed, at that time, his hands were already very cold," she said.

"When I visited him yesterday, the deceased still asked, 'Is TOP still able to shoot?'. 'We will shoot after Eid, right, when father recovers.'", she continued.

2. History of Heart Disease

Clara Kaizer is not sure of the exact cause of Sopyan Dado's death. However, she revealed that the actor, who has three children, had a history of heart disease.

"He had heart disease, but I'm not sure about the cause of his death," she said.

Sopyan Dado's body was buried at TPU Poncol Ciputat, South Tangerang, on Thursday (28/3). In addition to family members, some friends also accompanied Sopyan Dado to his final resting place.
