"Now, when we talk about Jessica Tanoesoedibjo, people always say, 'Wow, Tanoesoedibjo seems to be the child of Mr. Hary Tanoesoedibjo and Mrs. Liliana Tanoesoedibjo'. Do people often say that? So is it like, a privilege or a burden for you?" Merry Riana asked.

"Pretty much all the time. To be honest, growing up was a burden. Maybe that's actually one of the reasons why I was happy when I first studied abroad. Because for once, people didn't immediately associate me with that identity. So I could just be down low," Jessica Tanoe replied.

2. Learning to be More Grateful

However, all the burden that Jessica felt changed when she returned to her homeland, "But if I'm honest, since coming back to Indonesia, what I used to consider as a burden, I have learned to be more grateful for it."

"Because one of the things I see is that maybe what people know about my parents is that yes, they are successful in business, and also in family. But what they don't know is how my parents really love and care for us," she concluded.
