"Hotong Rice is an extraordinary natural resource that grows in Pulau Buru Namlea, Ambon. It is an alternative food crop that can be used to make various foods such as porridge, instant noodles, various types of cakes, energy drinks, baby food cereals, and many more," Bella Shofie wrote in the caption of her post.

Furthermore, Bella also explained various nutritional contents found in hotong rice. She mentioned that this food is very suitable for those who want to live a healthy life and have a history of diabetes.

"The nutritional content of HOTONG rice is truly extraordinary, its carbohydrate is very similar to regular rice but its protein and fat content is higher. Hotong seeds contain bioactive components such as antioxidants, namely tannins and VITAMIN E. What's even more special is that after being processed in the stomach, it does not produce GLUCOSE (Very Low GLUCOSE). It is a food that is very suitable for people who want to live a healthy life and have a history of diabetes," she added.
