Kapanlagi.com - The divorce lawsuit filed by Tyna Kanna against Kenang Mirdad was held again at the South Jakarta Religious Court. The agenda on Tuesday (14/12/2021) was to hear testimonies from the defendant's side.
The witnesses from Kenang's family are Jamal Mirdad and Naysilla Mirdad. Both of them volunteered to testify.
"As the parents and sibling of the defendant, we attended as witnesses from the family. Actually, we were not asked, but as a father and sibling, of course, we offered ourselves," Jamal said after the trial.
Jamal and Naysilla claimed that they did not count the number of questions asked by the prosecutor. However, all of them revolved around Kenang and Tyna's marriage.
"I didn't count the number of questions. They were all about their marriage, not mine," Naysilla added jokingly.
Tyna Kanna's divorce lawsuit against Kenang Mirdad has surprised the public. This is because the couple has always been far from scandalous gossip.
Seeing his son's marriage falling apart, Jamal responded wisely. Even if they were to separate, he hoped that Kenang's relationship with Tyna would remain good for the sake of their children.
"In this situation, my child is facing a trial. Of course, which parent would not be saddened if their children face conflicts or problems or tests. Hopefully, everything will return to goodness. Whatever the outcome may be, hopefully, it will be the best," said Jamal.
Jamal Mirdad revealed that Tyna Kanna is a good daughter-in-law, as well as her family. Now, even when facing a divorce with Kenang Mirdad, it will not change his perception.
"Tyna is a good person, her family is also good. If there is a problem now, it happens to be a personal matter. Because we are adults, it should be resolved maturely," said the former husband of Lydia Kandou firmly.

Kenang is recognized as being quite open about everything to the family. However, Jamal Mirdad understands if there are things that are not told to him.
"In certain matters, I will definitely be open. But in certain matters, if there is privacy, I respect it because they are already adults, already married," said Jamal.

The presence of a third person in the household of Kenang Mirdad and Tyna Kanna was rumored to be the cause of their divorce. However, this was denied by the legal representatives who stated that continuous disputes were the reason for Tyna's divorce lawsuit.
"The factor (cause of the divorce) in the lawsuit is indeed continuous disputes. That's it, there is nothing else," explained Yanti Nurdin, Tyna's legal representative, after the trial.

The children from the marriage of Tyna Kanna and Kenang Mirdad currently live with the plaintiff. Kenang's lawyer is grateful that Tyna does not prevent Kenang from meeting the children as it could cause legal issues.
"Currently, the children live with their mother. Kenang has met his children several times. There are no obstacles in meeting the children. Tyna has given Kenang many opportunities to meet the children. If she doesn't give the opportunity, it would be a violation of the law," explained Zikri Muhammad Lutfi, a representative of Kenang Mirdad's legal team.
