Being an Imam During Tarawih Prayer at Home, Imam Darto: I Feel Nervous If It's in the Mosque

This is also felt by Imam Darto and Danang Dimas, these two presenters still perform tarawih prayers with their families at home. Surely, both of them become imams when praying for their respective families.

"It's definitely different, but we still perform tarawih prayers at home, I usually become the imam, it's part of my image as a Hajji. So, I have to lead tarawih prayers at home, which means I have to learn more short surahs so that it's not always the same," said Imam Darto when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday afternoon (5/12).

In addition, Imam Darto admitted that when he became an imam for his family, he didn't feel nervous at all. The same goes for Danang Dimas, according to him, there are now more activities with his wife and family when they are at home.

"When I'm at home, I'm relaxed, but when I become an imam in the new mosque, I feel nervous. You see, a man is destined to be the imam of his family, he is also the captain of the ship to navigate the ocean of life but he also has to be the imam in real life," said Imam Darto.

"Yes, we do everything together and have more time. When I pray together with my wife, basically every activity at home is done together with my wife," Danang continued the conversation.
