Being in Mecca When Masjidil Haram is Closed Due to Corona, Dewi Sandra: A Test

Kapanlagi.com - The corona virus has spread to various parts of the world, such as with the Masjidil Haram in Mecca which had to be closed due to the virus. Regarding this matter, the beautiful artist Dewi Sandra gave an understanding that a test has now occurred.

It is known on her personal Instagram account @dewisandra, she uploaded a photo of the deserted Masjidil Haram due to the corona virus. In doing so, Dewi Sandra also gave a very long message about the closure of Masjidil Haram.

What is felt when seeing this image, I'm sure 10000% no one will feel the same. For some of us, maybe this is just ordinary..." for others, this might be a test from Allah for all of us...and there are still various possibilities of interpretation/ perception among them...But for myself...I see how powerful Allah, Al Aziz can reverse the situation...and it all started from a tini tiny virus...invisible to the eyes but the whole world believes...and yet today many of us still questioning God? I never imagined seeing this scenery...in my entire life...and this proves that humans are weak creatures...as weak as can be...and foolish as can be...May Allah, with all His wisdom, forgive all sins and allow us to repent, improve, and draw closer to Him...," wrote a long message on Dewi Sandra's Instagram account.

Seeing the empty Masjidil Haram, Dewi is still grateful because there are still people who come to perform tawaf, although not near the Kaaba which is usually crowded and fought over to kiss the Black Stone.

"N.B: Alhamdulillah there are still people performing tawaf on the 2nd and 3rd floors and hopefully this is temporary and not permanent... we pray that Allah softens our hearts... among all the blessings that Allah has given to His servants, the greatest and most beautiful blessing is faith. If there is none left... it's over...," she added in the caption message.

2. Aming Also Responds to the Coronavirus

Regarding the widespread coronavirus, artists like Aming, in addition to Dewi Sandra, feel disappointed because some individuals are taking advantage of the virus situation for their own benefit. He also mentioned that the use of masks should be used reasonably.

"I'll be honest. Yesterday, I advised people to wear masks because there was a recommendation to do so. Although there are some opinions that it's fine not to wear masks if you feel healthy. Look, as far as I know, viruses, like the flu, don't have a cure. The cure is plenty of rest, eating well, boosting immunity with vitamins, exercising, and eventually recovering. That's why there's a recommendation that says sick people should wear masks, while healthy people with good immunity don't necessarily need to wear masks," he said when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (4/3).
